10.09.08 | gawd this website is boring Not that I have established any kind of track record whatsoever that would make you believe me if I said things were going to change...
05.17.08 | The Hot Left album & stuff Well, I haven't been very cool about putting new stuff up here lately, but I will try to be better in the near future. Anyway, my band The Hot Left recently finished our first album. Album artwork is being worked on by some talented friends of ours, and it should be ready to fly soon. Drop by our site (on the links) and check out a few of the tracks.
We'll be playing next week (Tuesday the 27th) at The Delancey. It will definitely be a fun night and we'd love to see you there.
Brooklyn's getting sunny, which I'm ready for. Please let me know you dropped by and drop me a note in the contact section.
xox,
chris
04.19.08 | Something new here soon hmmm, you know when you have a website, but you forget that it needs to be updated to remain interesting?
04.17.08 | blah blah
09.28.07 | *....T....* Yo evr'body. For those of you in New York, hope to see you at a show this month.
06.21.07 | Washington fun Wow. Thanks to the amazing group that came out for the intimate (but not at an inappropriate level) duo event with Mack Grout and myself last week. It really seemed like the fun levels were exploding for everyone, and having Brie Lobbett join us with some singing was fantastic. Hope you will all come out again next time.
I'm heading back to New York, warmer weather, fewer mountains, and more expensive beers this week. Have some shows coming up with Fave Deddock, which I play bass in. Should be a lot of fun. Everyone be well. love, christopher
02.27.07 | Hitting the streets Time for an update here it looks like. Since the last one, its been a bit of a whirlwind personally, and the music's been fun. I just got back from a little jaunt out to the Midwest, where I played with Karl Kerfoot, 'A Barry Sanders Explosion' (yes, their real band name), and Ian Ross while enjoying the great Ohio cities of Cincinnati and Cleveland. The week didn't include any Lebron James, Pete Rose or Bone Thugs sightings, but there was some solid time with good friends, met some nice people along the way, and the JetBlue gods didn't mess with my flights too much. Back in NYC, did a Sunday night at People with Dave Feddock (& looking forward to this coming Sunday with Jay and Alex Foote) we got a little snow here, and Scorsese won best director. Life is moving fast. Enjoy it everybody. More soon. -christopher
12.20.06 | Nog? Ummm, yes. Happy Holidays everybody. I'm in my hometown in Washington this week, and for anyone out here, hope to see you at the show I'm playing with my good friend Mack Grout and his band from Seattle. Sure to be a fun night, and good chance to play and see a bunch of people. Playing music in your hometown. Good stuff. Some fun things coming up back in New York in January too. Keep those loved one's warm y'all. Be well.
